Welcome to the International Association for Health and Preservation of Shepherd Dogs "ISA".

ISA was founded by and for breeders who want to continue breeding the White Swiss Shepherd Dog and the German Shepherd Dog with focus on health and diversity but are unable to shape their vision within the current construction of already existing associations.

 

Breeding within the association will mean actively aiming to reduce the genetic inbreeding, increasing genetic diversity and always taking into account the health and welfare of the dogs. This will be achieved by holding our breeding members to our high standard and our code of ethics.

 

ISA accepts and encourages outcross breeding and will provide pedigrees to by our commission approved outcross litters. All pedigrees given out by ISA are registered at IHR e.V.

 

ISA collaborated with Slovgen diagnostic laboratory and Embarkvet lab in March of 2023. Because of these collaborations we are able to provide wide range DNA testing for greatly discounted prices.
